A Sketchbook with Nature

Nature has always been an incredible source of inspiration. Participants joined wildlife artist Sangeetha Kadur on an exploration walk with nature. By immersing themselves in surroundings, they captured the natural world in our sketchbooks. Sangeetha introduced them to many meticulous and fun ways of filling up journal pages with interesting observations and nature stories.

About the Artist

Sangeetha Kadur’s exploration into the realm of wildlife and nature painting stems from a deep appreciation for both the natural world and the arts. She aspires to create work that emphasises the importance of our rich biodiversity, and evokes pride and respect of our natural heritage. Sangeetha has facilitated many nature journaling workshops in India and has worked in partnership with wildlife organisations on various art-ecology projects to help build awareness through education and outreach. In recent years, Sangeetha has stepped up to a curatorial role to set up nature information centres where she has led teams to build visual panels about our incredible wildernesses.
