Namma Oota Food Festival 2026 | Open Call

Science Gallery Bengaluru invites food brands, chefs, entrepreneurs, collectives, organisations and also home cooks to join Namma Oota, our annual food festival. We are especially interested in stalls, workshops, and experiences that invite the public to question, tinker and think about the science and stories behind what we taste and consume.

This year’s Namma Oota festival fuses art, science, and gastronomy. We encourage you to follow your senses. From the heady aromas that may be detected through quantum tunnelling in our noses, to the appealing sheen of an apple and the perfect crunch of a chip, our senses play a vital role in how we experience food.

From what grows in our fields to what lands on our plates, food connects us to questions of health, ecology, culture, and innovation. In the fourth edition of Namma Oota, we hope to explore these curiosities in relation to our diets, communities, and the environment.

If you’re a brand, organisation, or entrepreneur interested in showcasing your work at the first food festival hosted by Science Gallery Bengaluru, sign up below!
