About Namma Oota

The Namma Oota festival (21-22 November) at Science Gallery Bengaluru fuses art, science, and gastronomy.
In the fourth edition of Namma Oota, we encourage you to follow your senses. From the heady aromas that may be detected through quantum tunnelling in our noses, to the appealing sheen of an apple and the perfect crunch of a chip, our senses play a vital role in how we experience food.

Alongside the food stalls, we create a flea market-esque ambience with workshops, performances, interactive demonstrations and an open mic. The portico comes alive with the sizzle of tawas, buzzing conversation, and a bit of organised chaos. The festival is curated to spark conversations and connections around Bengaluru, Oota (food), and sustainability.
