EXHIBITS

SUBMERGE was a ‘Living Exhibition’. It featured fifteen dynamic exhibits spread across the three floors of Bangalore International Centre. Out of these nine were received through an Open Call and six of them were developed in partnership with research institutions and upcoming artists, as well as contributions from cultural institutions.

The exhibits were of diverse forms including artworks, sculptures, photographs, live experiments, and historical objects. They became starting points for our programming.

OPEN CALL

We launched the SUBMERGE Open Call on 1 May 2019 and it was live till 16 June 2019. We received over 120 proposals from the Open Call. Interested in participating in Science Gallery exhibitions?
