THE SOUNDS TAPPER

A microscope turned recording device that allowS us to hear the micro- sounds of Bengaluru’s water. Just like a turntable needle that scans the grooves of a vinyl record, the needles of this modified microscope are in direct contact with the vibrating water membrane. It plays the sound of oscillating pulses generated by bacteriological and chemical reactions taking place in the water.
