Allotropy of Mine
Carbon makes up 18% of our body mass. Artist Daniela Brill Estrada drew on this fact to compose her self-reflective work. Each glass bottle illustrated the amount of carbon contained in the different tissues, organs, and molecules of her own body.
Is there a difference between the carbon atoms in the glass bottles and the ones inside our body? How do we understand our body through carbon?
