About the Filmmaker

 Cy Gorman is an environmental dance-film maker, music producer, interaction designer, researcher, & storyteller. His focus in filmmaking is nuanced sound and colour  design, the body and nonverbal communication, the voice as a tool to inform movement and embodied poetry, cameras & mixed audiovisual/design postproduction techniques. Cy is increasingly focused on finding innovative ways to explore relationships between paralinguistic human vocal resonance, environment informed body movement and ritual and ceremonial choreography.
