This underwater robotic installation explores what ‘life’ might mean in a future after climate change. Mimicking Archaea, the micro-organism believed to be the oldest life-form on earth that can live without oxygen and in extreme conditions like acid rain, ArchaeaBot has an artificially intelligent neural network that can evolve to survive until the end of the world.
