Design Associate (Graphics)
Job Summary
The Design Associate is responsible for the visual language and look of all the public programmes and communications of Science Gallery Bengaluru (SGB). The SGB programmes include exhibition-seasons based on a theme and accompanied by a series of public events, learning programmes and a publication; pop-up exhibitions of a shorter duration; and a host of other public engagement programmes ranging from workshops, masterclasses, live labs, modules and more.
Key Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Manager, Programmes, Development, and Graphics Design teams, the director and Science Gallery International, the Communications Associate will deliver the following:
• Support the Programmes Manager and Media and Communications Manager in the development of all SGB graphics
• Design and production of all SGB communications collaterals
• Design and production of all SGB programmes collaterals
• Design and production of all SGB marketing collaterals
• Design and produce graphics for physical and digital exhibitions
Person Specifications
• Candidate must be extremely organised and respect deadlines
• A relevant degree in design or visual communication
• Interest in current science, technology and the arts/culture environments
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Experience working with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign is a must
• Experience working with Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects is a plus
• Ability to read and write Kannada is desirable.
• Support the Programmes and Communications Team in conceptualisation, execution, and documentation of modules, workshops, masterclasses both onsite and online

Work Hours Wednesday to Sunday; we are a small team of an institution in the establishment phase and therefore looking for people who are able to work flexibly. Late-nights, holiday and weekend work may be required.
