Activity Handbooks are learning tools for individuals and learning spaces with hands-on activities aimed at bringing research into everyday life that draw from major themes from each exhibition-season.





OPEN COURSEWARE

Science Gallery Bengaluru’s Open Courseware for CARBON is a freely accessible set of digital modules brought together by publicly available content from our exhibition and programmes. The courseware modules can be used by teachers and individual learners alike.

True to the Science Gallery way, the courses do not align with a single discipline, but rather examines CARBON through an interdisciplinary lens. Going beyond seminars and multiple choice questions, the courses consists of films, field exercises, reflective questions, and reading resources that develop critical thinking skills.


 

 
 

MEDIA LOUNGE

This space invites you to browse, listen, and play your way through a selection of open-access books, podcasts, and games that critically engage with carbon—its elemental nature, its social and political entanglements, and its impact on our past, present, and possible futures. Drop in, explore, and discover how carbon connects us all—one page, episode, or level at a time.

 

 

PERSPECTIVES

These programmes invited young adults to explore climate change and carbon through writing, photography, and film. From poetry and fiction to photographs and GIFs, their creative responses were showcased both online and in public spaces. This archive celebrates their work—and the power of young voices to imagine new environmental futures.
