About SUBMERGE

Water is an urgent concern for Bengaluru, with recent claims that the city will run out of water soon. SUBMERGE showcases what could happen if geologists, hydrologists, artists, civil engineers, ecologists, social scientists, oceanographers, historians, and storytellers, among others, shared and created knowledge about water to address challenges and identify futures.

It’s a one-of-it-kind exhibition that looks at water beyond being just a resource but rather explores our relationship with it through various disciplines.

In addition to the exhibits, the season will also include exciting programmes to engage young adults. There will be workshops, talks, masterclasses and performances - all looking at water through diverse perspectives. SUBMERGE will be aimed at exploring questions rather than providing answers to the participants and visitors.
