This talk served as an introduction to ecological landscape design. The speakers shared some tools and insights on documenting existing biodiversity on a piece of land and designing for its succession. They also presented a few design stories from projects where individuals who own private farms that exist in gradient zones between reserve forests and urban spaces can contribute towards conservation and awareness of harmonious coexistence with wildlife. The session ended with a short quiz on fauna, which opened up discussions within the audience.
