COVID-19 Vaccines: Telling the Story
With the example of Wellcome’s COVID-19 Vaccine Information Hub, this workshop explored the role of communication and advocacy in the complex space of vaccine discourse during the COVID-19 pandemic. Facilitated by Vaccines Graduate at Wellcome, Hannah Chhoa-Howard, the workshop took participants through the process of creating and running a campaign on vaccines, and also gave them the opportunity to develop ideas on communications or advocacy campaigns on COVID-19 in local communities.
About the Vaccines Graduate
Hannah Chhoa-Howard is a recent graduate, now working at Wellcome in the Vaccines team. Within Vaccines, she works specifically on policy, advocacy and communications as well as epidemic preparedness. Hannah has a keen interest in Global Health and completed her BSc in Biomedical Sciences at University College London.
