FUMES: THROUGH YOUR EYES

The danger of fumes is captured here by the toxic waste we dump into river bodies.

SHOWCASE

These photographs were captured at Kalindi Kunj on the border of New Delhi. They represent the condition of the river Yamuna and the life that goes on alongside it. The river flows through various states of Northern India. One can see the white foam which is made up of harmful minerals and acids released into the waterbody from various industries situated on the bank of the river. Dumping toxic waste into the Yamuna has now become a decades-long practice.
